I had the chicken breast combo. I will definitely not eat this again. Why? I'm not convinced the breast was not processed. Plus it was slightly undercooked. The sauces are excellent though, all three of them. As I was leaving I was kicking myself for not getting the 1/4 or even 1/2 chicken instead of the processed chicken breast. I will go back just for a whole chicken and maybe I'll be able to give them a better grade.

I used to live right on Pined Blvd and would make it to the Granja at least once a week. In my defense, I'm half Peruvian, so I love my rotisserie chicken, my red beans, and of course white rice with plantains. When I'm not in the mood for Chicken, I'll have a lomo saltado, which is strips of steak with French fries, tomoatos, onions, and it is served with white rice also. This is the BEST Peruvian place that I have found in South Florida that not only has a drive thru, but it's very cheap and their food is just to die for.

Another great La Granja peruvian restaurant. A serious lunch spot for the working crowd, but getting a plate will put you to sleep an hour and a half later at your desk, so watch out! Almost everything here was in Spanish, including the "Please seat yourself" sign (no English translation), so I mostly order by the tried-and-true point and grunt method. Hey, it works!

Ok...Maybe you didn't know that this is a Peruvian place. Maybe you didn't know that peruvians are number one in Rotisserie chicken...they are! (look it up if you wish) You come here hungry & you will leave with a loose belt. Staff is very limited in english but you can easily point out what you want. Food is inexpensive & plentiful. Bring a friend...one order can fill both of you up!

Cheap, casual and good. Had a 1/4 chicken w/ red beans, rice and maduros. My friend had the same but with the papas (potatoes). Mine was great, the potatoes could have been a bit more well cooked and crispy but the meal only costs $7 so how can you go wrong. The staff spoke english well enough to get by and I appreciated the hearty meal. I will definitely be back when I want a stick to your ribs meal. The A/C was on ARTIC so beware.

Amazing. Huge plates of peruvian greatness. Might be my favorite place to eat every time i'm in south florida.

My favorite location but all locations share the same problem - lack of customer service. I don't think anyone has ever smiled at or thanked me for my business. The customers get the same attitude that the employees do from whoever is running the register.

If I could give 0 stars I would. So when I pulled up at 230pm on Sunday afternoon there were 5 cars ahead of me in the drive thru. I waited 23 minutes for the first two cars to finish!!! 23 MINUTES!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! When I was bored in the midst of waiting, I decided to Yelp this location and once I read about the roach problem and the horrible wait....I told the care behind to back up so I can reverse and hauled my butt out of there. It's been slow in the past at this location but this was just ridiculous. They need better customer service and more efficient way of doing business or sooner or later everyone is just going to find another place.

FYI: I Just read this in the paper....they don't deserve any stars! 11 violations Ordered shut March 24 "Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. 1 live roach behind the steam table, 1 live roach inside the ice maker and 6 live roaches by the ice maker in the kitchen area." "Food contaminated by 1 live roach inside the ice maker. There's more .. But you get the point!

This place use to provide top quality Peruvian food, yesterday waited 30 mins for a chicken and what i received was 2 halves that were obviously a day old. Woke this morning with a major upset stomach. Their location on west pines blvd is much better. Recommend the La Brasa franchise, more consistent and better quality ingredients (lol thats Papa Johns marketing for ya).

They are supposed to open at 11am but constantly opens at 11:15. That's unacceptable. They need to come I earlier if they can't open on time. I place that on lack of managerial knowledge or may be they just don't care. Once the employee finally comes to unlock the door she does even have the decency to open it up for an older woman who was standing in the front waiting. Finally I get inside and order a simple selection. Half chicken all dark meat with salad. I notice people that ordered behind me are getting their food. I inquire about my food and they discover it was sitting on the back counter the whole time. Things happen for a reason because when he grabs my bag I see two roaches scurrying on top of the counter. I'm caught off guard and immediately ask for my money back. Where there is one roach there are others! Never will I enter this place again.

This place was closed down by The Health Dept for unsanitary conditions. 11 violations including live roach activity in the ice machine and found behind steam tables

This location was in the newspaper a month ago for violations and shut down for the day ( one violation was live roaches all over their kitchen) I used to be a good customer not anymore.

What a horrible experience. The girl standing by the cashier machine she was short was rude. Not only wouldn't she listen to me she couldn't understand a think and didn't care. Obviously my order was sctewed up. No one was friendly there. The sauces are good that's it.

Best restaurant in the area to get rotisserie chicken that you can order by breast, 1/4 chicken, 1/2, or whole to eat in or get in their drive through. When you enter to order your food and pay for it before seating, but don't go anywhere. With most dishes, regardless of what you order, it will be served to you on a plate quicker then most fast food restaurants. Food is Constantly being cooked up here, everything on their menu so its always fresh and very tasty. This restaurant serves up many Latin inspired and authentic dishes, for example the chicken platters are served with white rice and black beans unless you prefer something else that you can pay a little extra for, some dishes even come with fried plantains. Once you get to your table, three of their popular sauces are in squeeze bottles and located over by the front door is a serving table with the same sauces mixed in with onions, plain onions in an oil base dressing, and oil and vinger, all of which I like to choose what I mix in with my rice and beans. When you are finished eating, just leave your plates with tip on the table as there will be an employee at your table there very quickly to clean it up for the next customer(s). This place is typically crowded anytime I show up, always a sign of great food when not a dollar / value meal menu restaurant.

Peruvian food it's a new going on trend world wide and being myself 100% Peruvian growing up in Lima, traveling every year to Peru and eating almost every Peruvian dish there is from the most upscale restaurants like Gaston Acurio's (he is the Peruvian version of Wolfgang Puck) "Astrid & Gaston" to street food and food from marketplaces, I wouldn't say "La Granja" represents Peruvian food. Example: black/red beans aren't ingredients of our traditional dishes, that is common on Cuban, Mexican, and Central American dishes. Not the best Peruvian style rotisserie chicken there is, or commonly known in Peru as Pollo a la Braza, traditionally we only eat it with french fries. The lomo saltado or sautéed beef with onions and tomatoes, is huge lots of fries, onions, tomatoes swimming in a big pool of oil and soy sauce with little beef, not a real lomo saltado. La Granja as fast food restaurant it's ok. However, its not entirely true Peruvian food; although the owners are Peruvian, la Granja its more like a Latin American restaurant if you want to try real Peruvian food there are other good options.

Great food and awesome prices. Not 5 stars because our cashier was kind of rude.

I've been to La Granja many times at other locations and never had an issue. The food is amazing here, too. No complaints there. What ticked me off is that I came in at 9:10pm (they close at 10pm) and all the chairs were put up and the place reeked of Pinesol, which killed my appetite. So, I took it to go and, going forward, I'll choose to go to other local La Granjas.

Everything is very nicely seasoned. Rotisserie chicken, steak, grilled chicken steak, fish, shrimp...whatever u order, you'll like! My fave here is the Lomo Saltado which is sauteed beef with onions and tomatoes. Really good and always fresh.

This is my first time here and I'm mad at myself. The food here is so good and the price is just right. I have no idea why I never been a customer before, but I know one thing... I will be back

My 2nd visit to La Granja in a month - and I'm definitely a fan. Pretty basic menu, ordered 1/4 chicken, rice, beans and plantains. The food is very tasty and the seasoning is great. Don't know what they put on the rice, but it's so delicious I'd be happy ordering only a cup of rice. And they have some sort of lunch special - 1/4 chicken, rice and beans for less than $4. Can't beat that. Not to mention, it's refreshing to get a meal on a real plate, with real silverware, and still pay less than $10 for lunch.

I don't care what anyone says, yeah their chicken might not be the greatest shit to grace your lips but hey it's cheap as hell for how much they offer. Also their chaufa de mariscos is the best tasting plate at this restaurant. Chaufa de mariscos means seafood fried rice. At almost $20 dollars per plate, rest assured this plate can easily feed up to 3 hungry people! The rice is mixed in with eggs, scallions, chopped up veggies, chicken and 2 clams from what I can recall. It's so good I recommend it to anyone in the area. The owners must be doing pretty damn well as this place is always packed and there's always a new location popping up. Best peruvian fast food place. Wait time on the line can run from 5-15 mins. Wait time on the drive-thru is a nightmare. They serve EXTREMELY big portions!

Came here expecting to have a great dinner after a great service. to my surprise while i was waiting in line someone came shouting to the front that they got a cup with ice and a side of roach in it!!! Disgusting!! What an unpleasant experience. Not coming back here again. I actually was rating it a zero stars and it didn't allow me, ZERO stars from me to la granja!! Discussing!!! Everyone with a cup of ice had to empty their cup and ask for them to wash cans, cups and of course had to have hot sodas due to they didn't have any cold ones!

I've been coming here for the last 4 years. The food is always good. Best of all cheap. I get the#1 or #3 white meat. Quick in and quick out. Also a plus. Each La Granja is a bit different. The pines location makes good black beans. Chicken is good at all the locations. The beef and fried rice is also good. 2 can usually eat from one order. This is definitely a must try. I recommend it highly.

I've been here many times and find it helpful in a pinch for dinner. This is the best location because it used to be a Kenny Rogers Roaster. They have a huge wall of rotisseries. I've tried their fish dishes and their beef but the chicken is the best. We really like their desserts. The rice pudding is creamy and thick with just enough cinnamon on top. The cookies they sell by the register are to die for. They are called Alfajores. They have dulce de leche in the middle and are covered in powdered sugar. You don't want to leave without one.

All la Granjas are A+++ but out of all the granja's in Broward this one perhaps serves of the best tasting chicken. There is just something on the way they prepare the chicken at this location that makes it the best.
